Cambodia, Siem Reap – Family Villa

Our first accommodation spot in Cambodia and we were not disappointed. We booked through an Airbnb listing and our host was easy to contact, responded quickly and provided a complimentary tuk tuk pick up from the bus station – wonderful service. On arrival and during our stay there was also plenty of complimentary bottled water.

The hosts have only been taking guests in this apartment for the past few months but they have a wonderful, stylish two bedroom apartment in a central part of Siem Reap.Family Villa_Siem Reap_Cambodia_1The bedrooms were spacious with air conditioning units, comfortable beds and the bed linen and towels were lovely, fresh and soft. The curtains all matched and covered the full size of the windows when closed. There is an open plan seating area and kitchen with a small balcony. Currently the kitchen only has a two burner hob, nice big refrigerator and kettle, however most utensils & cutlery we asked the hosts for, they were able to provide. Wi-Fi was also very good.Family Villa_Siem Reap_Cambodia_3

They were extremely helpful during our stay, providing us with local information, tuk tuk and driver services, taking Logan via scooter to show him where the local fruit stalls were and even spinning out our rain-soaked washing the morning we were checking out.
