We were in Xi’an for only two nights but could easily have stayed at this two bedroom apartment via Airbnb for longer. The host was so lovely and was very helpful during our trip.
The apartment is a good size with comfortable furnishings throughout and nice linen. The lounge area has an air conditioning unit.Bedrooms have firm beds with large wardrobes and air conditioning units. Compact bathroom with two shower heads (good water pressure and temperature control), toilet and vanity. Small washing machine available and a nice sunny area to hang and dry clothes off one of the bedrooms. Wi-fi was really good, we didn’t use the TV.We suggested to the host that she add some plates and cutlery in the kitchen and pots and pans but otherwise a great place to stay.
- West Gate of the Xi’an City Wall – 900m
- Drum and Bell Towers – 3.5km
- Xi’an Railway Station – 7.3km
- Xi’an North Railway Station – 16km
- Terracotta Army/Warriors – 43km
There are plenty of taxis in the area, and they were quite a cheap transport option, but getting a taxi in China as a foreigner can be difficult at times as some drivers just don’t want to take foreigner passengers even if you have the address in Chinese. China has a service similar to Uber called ‘Didi Chuxing’ but we couldn’t download it from our App Store.
