We found a two bedroom, one bathroom apartment (with lots of children’s toys and books) via Airbnb a little out of the city centre but a short, easy walk to the Bangi Metro station. Our host was so lovely, had easy communication before and during our stay and gave us very detailed and helpful directions from the metro station to the apartment.
We arrived at Gimpo Airport late at night and we took the metro directly from the airport on the same line to the Bangi Station (took about 1 hr 10 mins). From this station it is an easy 300m walk to the apartment. We were given great instructions on how to locate the apartment and self check-in, we had no problems.
Inside the apartment everything was super clean and there were notes in English on items to help with operation and use. The hosts also kindly left some treats for our boys and a nice array of brochures about things to see and do in Seoul and transport options/maps.The furnishings and linen were of good quality, great kitchen with a huge array of cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery. The furnishings and linen were of good quality, great kitchen with a huge array of cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery. The boys loved the huge array of toys and books and did not want to leave at the end of our stay. We would have liked to have been able to stay longer as this apartment was one of the best Airbnbs we have stayed in over the past 15 months.
There are lots of shops and eateries in the surroundings streets.
- Supermarket – 200m
- Bangi Metro Station – 300m
The Metro Station is an easy walk from the apartment but the location is a reasonable Metro ride away from the central of Seoul.
