For our final three nights we returned to Negombo to be closer to the airport and found a newly completed apartment at Yoho JMF Apartments via booking.com. Although it wasn’t mentioned in the listing that the whole property wasn’t fully completed so there was a bit of dust around the place. We booked the ‘Apartment – Ground Floor’ but our room ended up being on the first floor, it was a good sized and a well set out space. You enter into the open plan area with two single beds, floor lamp, small wardrobe, ceiling fan and small kitchen space. There is a large refrigerator, microwave, kettle, cutlery and crockery. Bathroom has an open shower with shower curtain, toilet and vanity. Large spacious bedroom with large bed, bedside tables, set of drawers, air conditioning unit, ceiling fan and TV. Comfortable furnishings with good linen throughout. Had problems with the Wi-Fi, very good when we first arrived but a few hours later it was slow. We were first told “it’s the end of the month”, different modems were tried and we had to have three conversations to get more data loaded.
